Fight climate change, one stair at a time
Climb 4 Climate is a Weston-based nonprofit that’s all about creating a greener world while having fun.
Did you know? Research shows that 3.6 billion people live in areas highly susceptible to climate change, according to the World Health Organization.
If you want to fight back — even in a small way — meet Climb 4 Climate, a local nonprofit on a mission to make a difference. Here’s the scoop on their first stadium stair-climbing challenge:
- What: Climb 30 rows of concrete seats
- Where: All 37 sections of Harvard Stadium
- When: Saturday, Aug. 10
- How: Early bird registration is $25 for adults ($40 after Aug. 8), and $15 for students ages 13-18 ($25 after Aug. 9); all participants will commit to fundraising minimums ($250 for adults and $150 for students) to support the cause.
Bonus: After the climb, you can enjoy the Climb 4 Climate “Festivo,” featuring food trucks, live music, and climate action exhibits. Not a climber? You can still help by sharing the event or volunteering.
